Have a friend, monk or whatever, just so they can stay alive, aggro the bear. When the bear uses his brutal mauling skill, you hit charm, your friend takes off running the other way(away from you) and the bear follows..it may take a few tries, but eventually he WILL be out of range when he hits break charm and you'll get it.

Yes, it's well documented that you can have a bear. The problem is getting to elc at lvl 1. It used to be possible but as of the update making you need a secondary, I don't think you can anymore.

majoho, as I've posted with screenshots (one reply above yours), you only need:
500 xp primary proffesion +25 xp for the kill
250 xp secondary proffesion
and you're out.
There are a whole lot of quests you don't need. Path to glory (just talk to the right NPC instead of talking to the NPC that tells you to talk to the right NPC and gives you 250xp just for that), the quest that tells you to get a secondary proffesion.
It's do able, but still why do it?

Well! I am officially amazed. I could have sworn I had read somewhere that you HAD to be lvl3 before you could leave pre.....but obviously not. I still don't understand why you want to do this, but am happy to help with the bear cap attempt

Ive seen lvl 1s at ring of fire so it is possible
Now if u can still do that idk
I remmeber you didnt need a secondary to leave pre aka the good ol days
But theres still a way to be a PvE character thats just 1 prof ex w/X,e/X,r/X,etc. but thats off the subject (whisper my IGN if u wanna know how)
But like someone else said earlier...useless
No title for it and ppl will be like "their was a lvl 1 in RoF"..they wont remember ur name so u wont be known either...and its not like ember or RoF is like Grotto or Pre-Sear Ascolon dis 1.
But if u have nothing to do why not go for that or LDOA
